| Faith Haven Stables partners with nearby Camp Findley to offer five different weeks of riding camps during the Summer of 2012. Participants will stay at Camp Findley, enjoying swimming, campfires, games and other activities in the evenings. Days will be spent at Faith Haven Stables riding and learning how to care for horses. Each participant will ride twice a day, once in a formal lesson setting and once on the trails. Participants may choose to ride either English or Western and will enjoy many activities on horseback including jumping, barrel racing, pole bending and other mounted games and activities. |

| Participants will need to have hard soled shoes/boots with a heel and long pants. Helmets are provided by Faith Haven Stables, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if they have them. Participants may also choose to bring riding gloves and/or breeches. |

| Whether you already have riding experience or this is your first time, you won't be disappointed! We have a variety of school horses for participants to ride and care is taken to match each student to the right horse. Check out our Lesson Horse page to meet our horses! Participants will also learn about basic horse care and equipment. You will learn how to groom and tack up your horse and how to properly handle them on the ground. |
